Apple Cake

I baked this last night and not only did my whole house smell delicious the end results were so good I had to share with everyone! I like mine a little more cake like so you can add more apples and pie filling if you like yours more pie like.

You will need:
1 Boxed white cake mix (I used the vanilla)
2 apples chopped (I left the skins on for some extra crunch) you can add more if you really like apples
1 can/jar apple pie filling (I only used half a can)
1 stick of butter melted
vanilla extract
cinnamon sugar

What you need to do next:
blend cake mix according to package
add cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract to taste
pour in a pan ( I used a bundt cake pan)
add apples, butter, and filling
Bake 350 for 30-45 min-cool 10 min, serve warm

Please enjoy and let me know what you think!

First Dress

I am beyond ecstatic! Today I received my first dress shipment for Dress for the Game! I tried to take some photos and they do NOT do this dress justice.

A full lace dress with a dark tan underlay that has a sweetheart neckline.Would be amazing at a Vandy game with a black coat or at a UT game with a bright orange scarf! You could dress this down with some flat black boots or wear it out with high versatile! Please let me know what you think!

New Business-New Blog

My name is Heather Chesser and I am the owner of Dress for the Game. At Dress for the Game we hand select fun, stylish clothes that coordinate with your school’s colors. I am creating this blog in order to connect on a more personal level with my customers. Since my store is going to be online only, I don't get personal interaction with those of you that share two of my loves: Fashion and Football.

Take a moment to check out the photos from our shoot with White Cotton Photography! They are great and will be on the homepage of the website!  The website is still under construction but should be finished soon! Find us on Facebook!
